This picture shows our new Bulrush against the back drop of a beautiful Loanhead summer's day. Probably a good thing that it is now rated to IP66.

To gain its improved IP rating and performance Bulrush has had a complete overhaul and is now a much more robust fitting. The acrylic diffuser is solid instead of tube and is sealed with an o ring, like Tadpole and Mole. It also shares other features, like cable gland seals, with Tadpole and Mole too.

The head is Ø34mm and length 155mm so the improvements have not changed the size much from the original fitting. It's equipped with 1 x Cree XRE LED which can be run at up to 700mA, although in low ambient light conditions 350mA (approx 1w) is plenty.
